On Sunday, 16th January 2022, Menroi Rural Priority had it’s grand opening with it’s head office in Achusa, Makurdi, Benue State.
The event began at 2.00 pm with the arrival of guests, partners, volunteers, Benue Tv and other well wishers present.
The name “MENROI” prides itself from the word “IORNEM” when read backwards. “As growing up kids who had fun playing with words, we didn’t know that one day it will birth something as big as this”, this was revealed in the Founder/ President’s speech as he addressed the gathering.
The President/Founder, Dr. Kohol Shadrach Iornem a visionary leader who makes everyone feel adequately important and appreciated sets the pace by expectations and example and never stops at providing opportunities for people to grow personally and professionally with compassion.
Menroi Rural Priority was established with the vision to create a world where the less privileged in rural communities thrive and a mission to support and strengthen rural communities in order to improve the quality of living and it has not relented in it’s activities.
At the event, Mrs Dorathy Sorkaa , a dedicated and productive beneficiary was graced with the gift of two brand new butterfly sewing machines, courtesy of “Menroi” itself and a partner, Mr Atom Lim. This gesture was to serve as an encouragement to her and others who stand to benefit from this notable organization as time goes by.
All personalities were adequately fed, courtesy of Menroi Rural Priority, side attractions such as riddles, musical chairs were part of the entertainment activities.
Guests offered goodwill messages and words of encouragement.
The President expressed his thanks to all who took out time to grace the occasion, and to the Director of programmes: Ms Sophia Kwaghzan and the team of unwavering volunteers for the awesome work always done.
